Online Research Surpasses Phone Surveys

March 22nd, 2007 by Jared Bothwell

I imagine most people will breathe a gentle sigh of relief with the title of this post. Figures released by the Council of American Survey Research Organizations show that more and more organisations are turning to online survey tools for their research requirements.  It would seem likely that this trend is likely to occur in New Zealand and for those that are consistently disturbed in the evening by tele-researchers relief is on the horizon. It should be noted though that the telephone is not dead. There is still a place for it in many areas but the blanket random calling technique may soon be a thing of the past.
